The Penobscot County Regional Communications Center is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Emergency Call-Taker. This position requires working in a fast-pace emergency dispatch center answering both business and emergency calls.
Applicants must be able to work under pressure and be self-motivated team players. The ability to multi-task is a must in this environment. We are looking for dedicated individuals wanting to work in a professional atmosphere and look to make a difference in public safety.
Applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have computer and keyboarding skills and a background in customer service. The selected candidate must complete; criminal background, polygraph, fit for duty physical, hearing test and drug screen.
